For the purposes of applicable data protection law (including the GDPR where it applies), sevenRenders acts as the data controller for personal data processed through the Service.

Account data: when you sign up, we collect information such as your name, email address, authentication identifiers (for example via Firebase or similar identity providers), and account preferences.

Content you upload or generate: projects, slides, captures, media files, prompts, exports, and metadata associated with your creative work within the studio.

Usage and technical data: log data, device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, feature usage, error reports, and performance metrics needed to keep the Service reliable and secure.

Billing data: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by our payment provider (such as Stripe). We receive billing status, subscription tier, and transaction references — not full card numbers stored on our servers.

Communications: when you contact us by email or through forms, we retain the content of your message and our replies so we can support you.

We use personal data to provide and maintain the Service, authenticate users, process subscriptions, generate and store your creative projects, and deliver exports you request.

We use usage data to understand which features help users most, fix bugs, prevent abuse, and improve performance.

We do not use your private project content to train public models for unrelated third parties. AI features process your inputs to deliver the creative output you request within the Service.

sevenRenders includes AI-assisted features (text, image, animation, and layout generation). When you use these features, your prompts and relevant project context may be sent to vetted model providers strictly to produce your requested output.

We apply technical and contractual safeguards with subprocessors. Retention of AI request data is limited to what is necessary for delivery, debugging, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.

You remain responsible for the content you submit and publish. Do not upload sensitive personal data of third parties without a lawful basis.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: (a) performance of a contract — to provide the Service you signed up for; (b) legitimate interests — to secure, improve, and analyse the Service in a balanced way; (c) consent — where required, for example optional analytics cookies; and (d) legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose data under applicable law.

We share data with infrastructure and service providers that help us operate sevenRenders — hosting, authentication, payment, email delivery, analytics, and AI inference — under data processing agreements where appropriate.

We retain account and project data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete content or close your account, we delete or anonymise data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, or billing purposes.

Backups may persist for a limited time before being overwritten.

We implement administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security; please use a strong password and keep credentials confidential.
